Shabu-shabu is a japanese dish consisting of thinly sliced meat cooked
in a broth with vegetables. It is prepared at your table and served with dipping
sauce called Ponzu sauce. Shabu-shabu roughly translates
to swish-swish or swishing. It is the sound of the meat when it is cooked in a hot broth.
Hanei (means prosperity) has created two kinds of Ponzu dipping sauce.
The Tengoku (heaven) Ponzu sauce was created by using Yuzu (citrus juice) for its sourness, while The Tsuchi (earth) Ponzu sauce also used rice vinegar.
Choose one sauce that you like and enjoy this heavenly shabu-shabu.
